So I just looked at the faction log (which I figure Ryne will be attending/listening to even if I'm not gonna be tagging for a thread with the faction leaders myself) and she's just looking at Squall's thread and internally going "shit." Since uh. It's fairly open knowledge in Moon Temple that she defected from Stars so.

These two uh. They should probably talk.

Oh geez that's a perfect avenue for CR. With this knowledge in mind he'd actually make some kind of effort to reach out to her and, honestly, probably establish himself as an ally to her

Also FFs unite...but yes I would absolutely love to do something with this! He may seem cold but he'll go out of his way to help her after knowing just this alone.

Yussss FFs unite indeed. Honestly I wanted to tag you on the intro post but being in accounting problem resolution right at year end is a special kind of hell/busy-ness.

But yeah, same on her end re:wanting to establish herself as an ally, knowing that he's got very close people from home in Stars. She'd have a couple of Stars faces she could point him in the direction of as people she trusts also, so that might help.

Also he might be interested in talking to her adoptive father, Thancred, since he's the one who got her out of Stars and who took on most of the burden getting her into the Moon Temple (we actually threaded it out back on the November Audience log here if you're curious). But ye. Lots of CR opportunities abound!
