CHARACTER

NAME: Orchid
CANON: Granblue Fantasy
FACTION: Stars
ABOUT: Orchid's story is... complicated. She's a young girl that got her spirit transferred to a very human-looking golem body. She was an actual human once (or technically, a half-human half-Astral, which is a superpowered ancient race of assholes.) Ironically, she's much more emotional in her current body and she's been more expressive in Fellden as of late, though everything is still subtle/or subdued. She was once used by an evil empire to awaken/command the primal beasts of her world, beings similar to dieties. Fortunately, she was rescued by the heroes. Her canon point is during when she's having a lonely journey around the world with a war machine golem named Lloyd. Her world is very old school FF-influenced (due to some of the staff being former staff of some FF games)... so if any FFs wanna compare crosscanon notes, that'd be fun. c:

She's usually a quiet girl, but she has her moments where she's suddenly inclined to pour out her feelings. She's a very purehearted, gentle spirit, though her inexperience with the world might make her seem a bit childish. Her emotions come off as very subdued, but she's actually filled with a lot of feelings and love for people. :) She feels very indebted to the world for giving her life.

Some notable things about her is that she's always seen carrying a stuffed cat or if you don't see it (or I forget to mention it, lol), it's probably safe to assume it's nearby somewhere. You'll also be able to tell she's a golem by the ball joints connecting her limbs (mainly her knees and shoulders, her arms/hands are usually covered.)

CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN:

- Orchid spent a lot of the holiday downtime getting to know her fellow Otherworlders! I have an OTA top-level for her here that I don't mind backtagging away if you want to tag-in late. Otherwise, I can come to you if you want. Her IC inbox is always open too! I love inbox messages...

- I might take it easy during the first part of the upcoming event this month, since I still have to finish writing up my quest. Her quest involves learning about Temperance and mortal vessels, with the potential reward of getting a token for an audience with Temperance, as well as some other things!

- These are tentative thoughts, but I just had the thought of maybe aligning her or trying to get close with Temperance due to some weird parallels I've been noticing? Idk... just something I've been thinking about.

- Since she regained Lloyd recently and some of her powers, I want her to be more on the offensive! She's been on the sidelines for the past months and she's eager to protect others. Training can also be a thing, but she may need some encouragement to do that... she doesn't want to hurt her friends...

- If I manage to get her to Tier 2 in quests, I'd be interested in doing group quests in the future!

- Special permissions post if you want Orchid to notice anything about you super powerful magical types! Heightened sensitivity/empathic abilities are part of her passive Astral powers and they should be in full effect at this point.

- For you reckless fellow Stars folks, her plush cat was enchanted by the Emperor and it'll protect you from a mortal blow. It still has its five charges and she'd rather give it to someone else if she can protect them with it. She's willing to lend it to others if anyone's interested in doing something with that.

- She's a student at the University, currently apprentice level in the Conjuration tree. I haven't done much with this yet though...

CR WANTED:
Friends/Allies! - she really wants to be useful to others and gets attached to people pretty quickly. I'm also always down for her learning new abilities or skills. She can be your kind/quiet/awkward friend/daughter/sister-figure. Feel free to protect her too, but she's going to feel pretty indebted to whoever does that. I also like getting her to meet CR of her CR too? I'm pretty open to this, so let me know if you have any other ideas!

I'm also open to negative CR! I think the easiest way to get on her bad side is by talking down or hurting anyone that she likes. If you want to be horrible and destroy her confidence, it's possible to take Lloyd away from her, though it won't be without a struggle. This might be something I'm open to down the line, but I would like her to be badass fighter for a bit before anything like that happens!

CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN: felix is still just Existing in both kyst and moon temple territory? catch him hunting out and about, specifically near small villages... because maybe he helps them out! maybe! don't you judge him! if he's back in the moon temple, he's probably training, so come watch him kick training dummy ass... or find him poking about the markets with his mean-ass cat on his heels... or spot him at some fuckin musical performance????? he's THERE!

as for plans? i don't know! i'd like to get him involved in the plot a lil more, even though he's 🤔 kind of a cynical asshole... and thinks the gods are wack... and hates the network because he's a ye olde... you know what! we all have flaws

CR WANTED:

• are you a skilled fighter? do you wanna SPAR?? felix is always looking for good sparring partners, especially people who are a) kickass with a sword or b) masters of some cool/uncommon techniques he can add to his repertoire. i'm honestly down to handwave the sparring itself? we can work around it tbh, because this would be a preeeeetty good start to some rare Positive Felix CR™.
• peppy, positive people to wear down felix's rude walls. pointless pleasantries are beyond him? he's all about skill and survival, baybee, but i would love for him to make soft friends. bonus points if your character is a fellow music fan...
• more friends from the COURT OF STARS!!! he received this nifty clock as a blessing, you see, and tl;dr: it shows him the statuses of people he cares for on the opposite side, and he can teleport to them once a month if they're ever in trouble. i'd love to play with this more? to have him keep telling himself he doesn't want/need any more friends, and then have to, like, stare at all those hands on his clock and admit that he's in waaaaaay deeper than he'd like to be :') thisisgrowth.gif!
• people who will just drag him into shit, attitude be damned. need some muscle for an expedition? want someone to keep a group in line? flex!
• this is the classique rp copout, but! felix has a cat... his name is liam... he has a collar that says, and i quote, "MY NAME IS LIAM! IF FOUND, RETURN ME TO MY DAD FELIX." he can also turn invisible for 10 seconds every time he sneezes, so... spooky cat...

ABOUT: She's the leader of a gang of outlaws called the Deadlock Rebels and has a very "in charge" personality. Ashe is business savvy, but with a short fuse and a rifle. She thrives on being in control, and values a close family over everything else. Her absent parents left her bitter and made her act out for attention, until she realized she should just abandon that life and form a family of her own that would always be there for her. She wants to be wanted and enjoys working hard for what she has, but she can easily get fired up if things aren't going the way she plans.

CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN: Ashe is slowly trying to gain power by both learning magic and taking charge of a building project that should end with her as ruler of a new city. She's shown a lot of interest in learning magic because she doesn't want to be left behind when it comes to fighting/defense.

CR WANTED: Ashe thrives on having information and placing herself in positions where she can benefit from that info, so she wants to deeply entrench herself with the goings on of this world. Magic is new and still unfamiliar, so she wants to learn more on that front, and also just in general to be informed of what's going on behind the scenes when big events happen, whether it's rumors or fact.

CR OFFERED: Ashe is big on found family, so if she sees someone feeling lost, she may reach out. The trouble is, she wants such a relationship to benefit her in some way, so she'll gravitate towards people that are useful to her. In threads, I've been saying in the prose how she's selfish, but the people here that she's been getting closer to are becoming friends and not just useful people to her. I want her to make that step foward towards adopting people and have them be her people. Also, Ashe was given a bell by the Priestess to ring when she wants to cash in on a favor, and I'd love it if someday Ashe can reach a point where she uses it to save someone else's life and loses the chance to use the favor on herself.

CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN: Bruce recently spent 3 weeks in the Moon Temple dungeon followed by some time being cursed by the Priestess for being a bad baby. In prison, he got a tip from a wacky cellmate and went on a quest to open up a neutral network hidden from the faction leaders, which I'll be making a post about soon-ish so keep your eyes peeled! He's also over on the NYE log being weird.

CR WANTED: Friendly people who will make him feel too bad to be mean. Assholes who he can be mean to with glee. People he can spar with!! People who will not put up with his attitude. Kids he can try to adopt and ultimately traumatize.

ABOUT: a 17th century governor prince who is also a millennial. you may have heard of him at the nye party as someone who is Clearly of Noble Birth but also a bit of a hot mess. it is true. a little bit immature and excitable, always acts like he has a full studio audience..... that's ya boy. he has a whole lot of issues and will really not shy away from talking about them if prompted, but despite this, he also doesn't trust anybody. truly remarkable standards from connie d'orsay. he just wants to have a good goddamn time because he just got over having all his insides rot with the fuckin plague back home! damn! party time out of spite!!

CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN: Currently I am finishing up last month's stuff while waiting for the next event, so...... there is nothing freshly open to put here. Connie is brand new so all he's experienced is Party Time, but if anyone would like to do a CR building type thread before the January event happens, I'll make it happen for you!! lmk

He also has zero quest clout and doesn't like to do things alone, so, group quest with him perhaps? If you need a quest buddy gifted in the art of Public Speaking, he's here for you. His opinion of gods is distrustful to neutral but not enough to do anything about it... he's Around.

CR WANTED: As always, some true friends(tm). He's learning magic now so he'd love some additional magic help or fellow students to ??? with over it. His immediate response to having to side with any god about anything like that's a good idea is surejan.gif, so maybe if someone wants to talk shop about Real Loyalty, that would be... a thing? He's at the bare minimum of commitment to the Priestess by default. Tell him all your Opinions, his kneejerk opinion is all powerful people are terrible deep down, the end, soooo...

ABOUT: EST, living that student life. i aim to be a medium-paced tagger, and with the holidays over, i'll be going back to my usual tag-at-least-once-a-day schedule. however, i also go to school and work, so my tags on certain days of the week might be a little crazy (weekends are pretty much a dead zone for me). THAT SAID i'll boomerang if we're online at the same time, so if you ever want to give that a try, hmu and we'll work something out.

as far as interests go, i love horror (movies, books, games, whatever), comics (dc and dc-vertigo rip), vidya gaems (telltale, zelda, yakuza, bloodborne, a bunch of others and a lot of retro stuff), movies in general, homestuck, twin peaks, dark crystal and other scary puppet things from the 80s. just a lot of dumb stuff with occasionally intelligent stuff sprinkled throughout.

ABOUT: the big bad wolf, the original furry. once upon a time, he was a monster who terrorized and ate anything he could get his claws on, talking pigs and little girls in red included. then a zany war forced him out of his homeworld and into the real world, he gained the ability to turn human, was made the sheriff of a secret town of exiled fairy tale characters and other magical jerks, and now his life is a constant barrage of horrible moral dilemmas and periods of self-loathing where people seem to resent him no matter what he does. bigby can come off as a terse and unfriendly guy, and he has a truly vile temper that he struggles with constantly, but he's a responsible law keeper who's protective, emotional and cares very much about helping others and doing the right even though he has a hard time figuring out how to that doesn't involve being extra and violent.

basically, he's an 80s grimdark antihero with disney eyes. that also happens to be a talking wolf.

CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN: honestly, he hasn't done much since the labyrinth in november. after getting out of the forest, he was arrested and thrown into stars jail for sowing dissent against the emperor (aka for making that big info post with bruce and tony back in october), and once he got out he spent the rest of the month doing his own thing (i.e. moping and getting his shit kicked in by a no-neck clown).

there isn't a top level for him at the masquerade, and i got involved a little later than i normally do for events, but i'm still tagging around and will until the new event starts or people lose interest, whichever comes first. ditto with the intro post! don't be afraid to drop me links to your threads, is what i'm trying to say.

CR WANTED:

• more cross-faction cr! all of his friends so far are feral stars dudes. let's get some moon cr, which could potentially lead to—
• —PVP cr. seriously, i love pvp and conflict. let's be friends who secretly don't wanna fight but have no choice to, rivals, or flat-out enemies. with his personality, the third wouldn't be hard.
• people who can help him curb the worst of his unhealthy thinking or encourage it. basically: supportive people who can help him embrace his humanity, and awful people in love with his violence. make him your own personal pet project.
• strength buddies! he's currently investigating strength with dimitri and trying to figure out how to get her upright, so if anyone wants to help them with that, that'd be cool. also, more investigative types on the whole.
• more people that don't put up with his shit. seriously.
• more people he can add to his big ol' feral found family that he'd be willing to throw himself on a magical grenade for.
• polar opposites. sweet and cheerful types against his perma-grump and cynicism is (chef's kiss) MWAH
• more feral children who Know The Struggle of living out in the wilderness and being a fucking animal that he can adopt.

I enjoy comedy in the vein of MST3K and Monty Python, far too many memes and cheesy horror movies. I'm also big into books, fairy tales, fantasy, Victoriana and Star Trek. My favorite authors include Jane Austen, Peter S. Beagle, Harlan Ellison, Ray Bradbury, Richard Matheson and Stephen King to name a few. I don't watch as much anime as I once did but I still enjoy it all the same with my all time favorite series being Azumanga Daioh.

NAME: Sarah Williams
CANON: Return to Labyrinth. It's the sequel manga to the original Labyrinth movie.
FACTION: Court of Stars.
ABOUT:
Once upon a time Sarah wished her baby brother Toby away to the King of the Goblins. She ran the King's Labyrinth to get him back, won and went home in triumph. That should have been that but no story ever really ends. After Sarah's bid to go to Juilliard was met with rejection, she tried to kill off her dreams of acting, day dreaming and creativity in general and managed to inadvertently give away her dreams to Jareth. With the help of a former lover of his, her dreams were turned into a person (an ablation) named Moppet.

Thanks to that Sarah grew up seemingly overnight. And she spent over a decade as a harsh, rigidly logical and sad person. She knew something was wrong with her but had no idea what it could be and so ended up looking for fulfillment through work and romantic relationships. In the end none of it helped and it wasn't until she accepted her dreams again and realized she had abandoned the path in life she really wanted to walk down that she was able to move on.


CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN:
Sarah has been busy these past few months.

+ Sarah mastered shapeshifting and can now teach it to others.
+ She'll also be reaching Master in Healing at the end of the month (around the 20th) so she can teach that to others too.
+ She befriended a group of druids in the northern woods near Acubens during her November quest.
+ They also gave her a ring that lets her travel to the edge of any forest in Fellden except for the Gods Wood so that's nice.
+ Sarah now lives in a cabin in the northern woods, not far from the druids she found. Well, she stores her stuff there anyhow. On the coldest nights she sleeps there but when the weather is mild, you can find her shapeshifted into one form or another out in the forest itself.
+ She received a coin during an NPC thread that she can use to go speak to the Devil in a casino in Acubens. I'm probably going to cash it in after the event this month or next month.

Also here's her toplevel at the ball if you want to hit her up right away. Or feel free to throw down plot ideas. I didn't tag the new intro log or do much last month so I'm looking to really hit it CR wise this next month.


CR WANTED:
+ You a shapeshifter? Do you know much about druids, forest spirits or magic? Do you know much about roughing it in the wilds and survival skills? Come chat with Sarah and either find a buddy in her or someone to teach your skills to.

+ Sarah has a soft spot for kids/teenagers. She's a highschool English teacher at home and she's equally protective/loving of her stepbrother Toby. Even before the ordeal in the Labyrinth she had a great deal of protective love for him and that only increased after, even if the ensuing years of lost dreams meant their relationship is somewhat strained. So by all means come get mom'ed by her if you're younger. (You're also welcome to be annoyed with her thanks to the mom'ing.)

+ You want someone to dislike your character with a fiery displeasure? Sarah can help with that too. She's not the sort to temper her dislike of people when she does dislike them and I'm happy to make negative CR as well as positive.

+ Friends, of course. Casual or deep. I am interested in the whole 'found family' thing but that comes with time and experience so I'm looking for the starting building blocks of both light and deep friendships here that can progress into groups and gangs. If you already have some CR with Sarah, I'm very eager to deepen it and if you don't have CR with her then by all means hit me up.

+ Wanna start a book club or somethin'?

+ You need a protective older sister/mom type? I got you there, friend.

+ You like food? Sarah likes to cook! She's a whiz in the kitchen and more than happy to employ that here for others. If she likes you enough she'll even figure out your favorites and make them for you (her love language is definitely acts of service).

+ You need someone with a sharp temper when they're angry? Someone who'll have your back if you're a friend? Someone who'll even consider running a labyrinth for you? Yeah, she'll do that.

+ Do you want to learn magic? As long as it's shapeshifting or healing, at least for the moment, Sarah can help you out. She's a teacher back home so she's adjusting her techniques for magic training too.

ABOUT: Grumpy, stoic, heart in the right place but perhaps a bit more socially awkward than she'd like to be, Lightning is a former soldier turned l'Cie (person who was given a fail-and-die mission and the ability to use magic) who does not appreciate getting dragged out of her stuff to come and help Fellden. Decent with teenagers, voted most likely to become your big sister even if you're older than her, and quick on her feet, she tends to keep to herself/a small circle of trusted allies. I apologize in advance for her grumpiness.

CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN: Light has attended every audience but sat in the corner and just watched. Felt eyes on you while talking to the Priestess? Might have been her! Otherwise she spoke with a Fae woman in Luxuriae and attempted to speak to Strength about the start of the war but, heh, didn't go well. She's currently attempting to dig into a connection between the Tower and the start of the war without going to speak to anyone with divinity, so she spends a lot of her time trawling the shadier, back alley bookstores and corner shops of Kyst. Anyone's welcome to run into her there.

CR WANTED:

• Patrol buddies! Lightning patrols the East side of Kyst after her classes at the Warehouse, and two heads see better than one, so come join her!

• Sparring partners! Especially in hand to hand as her skill levels in close combat aren't quite where she'd like them.

• History buffs! Lightning's still digging into the start of the war (for blackmail to drag the Priestess and Emperor into a Get Along Shirt) so anyone to come crawling the shadier sides of Kyst with her would be lush.

• Magic buddies! Lightning has access to a lot of Destruction-equivalent spells and a whole lotta buffs now, but she needs practice to make them work so some flashy magic training would be lovely. Also she's a novice in Blood Magic but ha. Haha. She doesn't talk about that.

• People who yank her and tell her to sit still! Light is very much a go go go go person and getting her to settle down and relax a bit is a miracle in and of itself so. Good luck!

This is Syrlya he is a PLANT. Also the hero of his world, exhausted from years of war and loss and reticent about making friends because they keep Fucking Dying. But he still tries because he's not a quitter (and also the other option is everything dies because he's a failure).

CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN: Syr has been putting a lot of attention to the magical side of Fellden, looking for a solution for the apparent source of its decline in order to stop it--and stop all their worlds from ending as well. He's v invested in this!

Though he tends to get sidetracked when people are in danger, rushing off to protect civilians and fight monsters because that's important too. Don't forget the little people!

He's less invested in the actual war part, now firmly of the stance it's unnecessary. He's not looking to leave the Moon Temple, because he considers their best chance coming together, not fracturing even further. But he is of the mind that finding peace between the Priestess and Emperor and getting all the gods on board to save Fellden is in their best interest to save it.

CR WANTED:

I'd like to tie in with some other diplomatic characters who want peace too, to start making the legwork to convince the Priestess and Emperor to stay their weapons.

Also, other people who are into magic nerding who want to study Fellden's magic, magic history, and stop it from leaking out of the world.

In that vein, I want to keep up regular information sharing with characters who are looking into other aspects of Fellden, like it's tangible history and the other gods. Unify efforts.

The Not Job Stuff:

ABOUT: King of Faerghus and dumb. I JEST (maybe)… Dimitri comes off as serious and formal, which is not necessarily an inaccurate first impression, but beneath he is just kind of a squishy mess. He’s very straightforward, earnest, and honest, and likes to face all problems head-on; which means he also lacks a little thing called subtlety. He is chivalrous and dutiful, hard-working and idealistic, but he is also deeply emotional, doesn’t like to compromise, stubborn, and riddled with guilt. He had a Bad Time for a few years in his canon, did some Bad Stuff, has since then realigned his goals to bear the weight of his responsibilities like a real adult, and works to redeem himself by giving everything to those around him.

Likes to spar, is very stronk to the point where it’s inconvenient to him, will be a loyal and steadfast friend if you earn his trust!

CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN: Dimitri’s been trying to find his footing where the war is concerned. He’s been leaning towards aiding Temperance at the behest of Strength; he also hopes to aid Strength in righting herself, investigating the Tower, and will be wrangling a little chimera cub into behaving once I actually finish writing the quest weeps. He made a fool of himself at the ball but also had fun! Recently, he’s received a new home in neutral territory, so friends can come hang out if either sides of the war go to shit. Or just come say hi.

Mia's first instinct is to solve all her problems with stabbing. She has a hard time relating to all this compassion people keep showing her. However, she's not really showing her full true colors. She's surface-level more decent and willing to help than she normally would be. She's going by a false name, Crow, and living as her gladiatii self. She had a slave mark, but the Priestess helped remove that. Still, she won't talk much about her real history, just her history of a slave if asked about. Mia also has a shadow cat and shadow wolf named Mister Kindly and Eclipse that accompany her everywhere.

CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN: Mia has been working very closely with the Priestess, though she hides just how closely. She will admit to backing the Priestess and support her, but Mia has secretly stolen Temperance cards from other players or feigned innocence to try to convince people to hand them over. She's committed a couple murders thus far for the Priestess as well. She's also obtained blood magic from the priestess.

I'd really like to work on exposing Mia more. As she gains power and feels more safely backed by the Priestess, she might be more willing to reveal her name at the least. So far, she hid her name in case anyone from home arrived and was looking for her. But she might be more willing to expose her real name now that she feels a little more secure. But I'd like to eventually out her more for what she is so she can be more herself. And I love fallout!

As an aside, I've had a really difficult couple of months. But I'm swinging back into rp and will be tagging the recent event as long as others are still willing <3

- Friends, like real friends. the benefit of Mia acting as Crow is that she's a bit more approachable this way. I'd love for people to get close to her while she's willing to play nice, and for her to develop some real friendships off of that. People she'll start to feel connected to and willing to save and fight for!
- People like her real self. People more ruthless, murderous, and just outright callous. She'd love to be able to talk about murdering people without getting judged.
- Sparring partners. Mia goes hardcore, and sparring partners on a basic and magical level would be great.
- People to talk weird powers about. Mia has no idea what a darkin is, just that she can manipulate shadows. commiserating on weird powers would be nice!
- People to talk weird philosophical shit with. Mia has hangups about gods from her own world made worse here. So she's interested in new perspectives.

- Friends with benefits always welcome. IDK maybe a girlfriend for her some day??
- Anyone to challenge Mia on her morals! I'm really not shy about negative cr with her, especially as she starts showing more of her true colors!

ABOUT: Every 80s bad boy/bully stereotype rolled into one, with a nice dose of reality check in the form of being possessed by a cosmic horror from another dimension. He's a dumbass metalhead adrenaline junkie who is a little cynical and slow to trust other people, and he can be an aggressive asshole a lot of the time, but after getting a second chance here (and a third chance from Death) he's at least trying to be less of an asshole than before. Except he's also messing with some very dark forces, so that makes it a little bit complicated. He has to do one nice thing per day to keep his car running so he has a reason to be nice to strangers now, too.

CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN: This has changed bigtime since the last time this meme was posted, so here we go: Death gave him back the extra strength and endurance he had while possessed by the mind flayer so he could have a fighting chance in this world, and soon after he was invited to start studying magic with Phineas, a reclusive warlock who lives in Mortis.

Billy is now a junior warlock, drawing power from the same mobster he was once prey for. It was a complicated moral decision but he ultimately went with it because he was marked by the mind flayer anyway, so he might as well try and take back some of what was taken from him. Along with strengthening his magic he's taken a great interest in the ocean and is interested in exploring more of that!

CR WANTED:

• Anyone who's also studying or has magic that is on the darker side.


• Support group for people who have been possessed/turned into monsters/murdered by monsters at some point?? The boy needs to talk about his feelings instead of pretending he's too tough for trauma but it's difficult to get him to open up.


• He was killed by a wendigo with Temperance's brand, so he's pretty biased against her right now. CR with people who also dislike Temperance, or tension with Temperance supporters is always wanted!

ABOUT: 2B is a stoic, quiet, seemingly cold android gal who comes from a post-apocalyptic Earth where aliens invaded and machine lifeforms now rule the world. She's all about her duty and is unshakably loyal to her cause and purpose, which is to kick a hell of a lot of machine butt, and she does it real well. She's a battle-class android (hence the "B"), built to be deployed to the front lines of battle, and is an incredibly skilled soldier who specializes in close combat and can adapt to using just about any weapon available to her.

She comes off as distant and cold, but she has plenty of emotion, as well as a lot of baggage and secrets. The "Emotions Are Prohibited" thing is just a front because beneath it all, she's just a steel beam with a lot of Feelings. Mostly sad ones. Because she's a sad robot.

CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN: She hasn't gotten up to much, besides meeting a whole bunch of humans, some of which she thought were androids! She's slowly learning how to interact with them, and is asking a lot of questions (some not so good ones) so she's finding out a lot of very surprising things. December was just setting her up and I'll still be working on trying to settle her in. She's still pissed off about 9S ending up on the opposing side, so that will come up again eventually, I'm sure. She's already asked people in the Moon Temple how to get to the Court of Stars, only to be told that it was a bad idea for everyone involved, but that isn't going to stop her, even if she told him to keep his head down. Other than that, I plan on going with the flow for a little longer, until she learns more about this world and the war. She knows about Ryne defecting, and has put that little piece of information away in her memory banks for the time being... In between all of that, she'll still be trying to figure out a way back to Earth, because Command is surely wondering where the heck their androids disappeared to, right? Midnight rendezvous with 9S for regular maintenance, so hopefully they can do that without being seen because wow, embarrassing. Maybe harassing some cross-faction CR who also know 9S, just so she can make sure that he's safe and protected, and that the Court is treating him well!

CR WANTED:

Humans who are patient with her and can teach her things about their way of life! She's very interested in everything related to them, and is trying to learn as much as she can so that she can interact with them easier, and serve them better. And to exchange information with 9S on what she's learned.

People who are willing to spar with her. She can't take out her anger about her situation by beating up machines, but even an android needs to let off some steam once in a while.

People who are able to draw 2B out of her emotional shell and learn to have fun and live a little! This poor girl has no idea wtf fun really is, and that's sad. Please show her how to build snowmen and make snow angels, about the different types of music that exist, or how to dance. She might fight it at first, but you never know! She might learn to love it... She bounces really well off of talkative and more energetic type of characters.

As I mentioned above, cross-faction CR is a big one. She wants to make sure her bff is in good hands and is being taken care of! Please let her judge you and maybe even threaten.

She would definitely have a softer spot for talkative, curious boys. Hm, wonder why...

Negative CR! I haven't really had the chance to sink my teeth into playing her off of some truly negative CR, and people she doesn't like and wants to stab in the throat. Everyone's been so nice to her! Let's get mean!

"A weak diamond is really no diamond at all." They have a love-hate with their partner Bortz, loving them very much and being genuinely proud of their (and everyone else's) accomplishments, while feeling like they're constantly trailing behind and unable to catch up. They long to be out of Bortz's shadow and be recognized in their own right.

Very stubborn, but genuinely means well even if they have nooo concept of death or anything like that or what might be an offensive subject since they've never really encountered humans before.

Dia will probably attend the audience, but likely won't actually speak up, just listen and be sorta confused about why yall can't just get along.

CR WANTED: I really just want Dia to meet as many new people as possible. They're an immortal space rock and the closest thing to organic things they've gotten close to has been like. Bugs and birds and a sea slug one time. The Lunarians. But they're still hella different.

I just want them to poke and prod and pick up people to hug them. They're gonna think all these humans and other creatures are absolutely adorable, they love you all already.

CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN: Part of the first wave of Otherworlders into Fellden, Tony has publicly established himself as pro-Moon and a confidant of the Priestess*, and he's willing to fight for the survival of Fellden.

He's not a fan of Temperance and tbqh doesn't care who knows. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ He's also since repaired things since his tiff with Death's attendant.

Privately, as only P and very close cr know, he's been working with Hakuno in Medii, to make a magitech device capable of capturing a god's immortal soul, a means of stopping Temperance without killing her. As this is insanely complicated, it's gonna take time to refine the process, so publicly he and Korra are going to quietly recruit new folks into helping him mine the magic crystals that make the whole shebang work.

In the meantime he's enjoying sprucing up his new digs in Spei, and just generally keeping an eye on things.

NAME: The Warden (Neria Surana)

ABOUT: Neria is a young elven mage who is warm and kind on the surface. She takes on too much responsibility and often bears the guilt of that burden, which stems from being shoved into a position of leadership and authority at a young age without much in the way of training or backing. Beneath the kinder/polite surface level is a layer of pragmatism from her time as a Warden and Warden-Commander, and while she knows the cost of war and the cost of fighting the impossible, she always tries to do her best to serve the people she's with. Self-sacrificial and self-loathing, Neria finds that she has little in the way of purpose if she is not helping (or succeeding in helping) and when that fails, she thinks to blame herself. It's kind of toxic! Like a lot of characters in game, she's gone through A Lot of Shit and therefore is pretty traumatized as a result, which fuels that self-loathing and inherent obsession with being helpful - and believing she should have died long before now. She's dodgy about her personal information and history and has only started to really allow herself to be friends with people because she's afraid of letting people in and then losing them. Besides that, she's a powerful mage with specialties in healing, combat/tanking, and shapeshifting.

CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN: Neria spends probably 1/3rd of her time in the Gods Wood tending to shrines. She's been doing more traveling, especially into the neutral lands and the outer settlements and areas in Stars to try to help people on the outskirts who are possibly vulnerable. With this, she's been doing a lot of visiting to other smaller shrines and hopes to get over to Veris with Caleb at some point. Overall, she's concerned with the war and wants to protect Fellden and its people, and will give up anything and everything of herself in order to achieve this goal.

In November, she and Gilgamesh fought and she almost bit the dust. December had her forging a few promises that resulted in tattoos (Bigby, Rey, Dimitri). Right now, her primary goal is still to protect as many people as possible which isn't very realistic, to find a way to fix Fellden, and to help the people who have been hurt by the war and the loss of magic in Fellden. She feels an affinity for Death and the Attendants and wants to help them. She's also studying Conjuration magic.

I am also working on a concept that I want to offer as a player-run sort of organization, which I'll talk about in a second comment, but essentially it would be an Otherworlder-run sect with the goal of trying to find a way to bring back magic to the world, help the people of Fellden, protect other Otherworlders, and share information/research across. Its secondary goal kind of acts as an informal support network for players and characters to get CR and jobs and to just...play around with the setting and do fun things on the side (like take on contracts to hunt monsters, or help people out, or teach each other magic, etc.).

CR WANTED:
Friends - Neria's spent the past two months trying (and failing) to keep people at arms' length and care from a distance, thinking of them more as allies. She's slowly opening up to a few people (Bigby, Clary, Rey) but Neria as a character is nothing without deep, really strong CR and bond ties with people. So more of those, please! I play Neria to be a little bit malleable based on people around her and the people who can influence her (both positively and negatively) with her world views. Anything and everything related to this.
Rivals/Enemies - People who are going to disagree with her, challenge her worldview, who will not put up with her shit. If this edges into enemy territory (we're in a war/faction game, after all) then I'm super down for it! She actually likes the act of fighting/battle so it could be a really complicated and messy sort of CR, but also could be a driving force to push her one way or another.
People who want to help Fellden - As much as Neria genuinely empathizes with the war going on, her primary goal is saving Fellden and all of the other worlds as she believes that if Fellden falls, as it is the root of the worlds, so will everything else. So people who are primarily focused on this aspect will draw her eye and she'll be willing to trust. She wants to give the info she has and collaborate with people to try to figure Fellden out as a whole. This...also might tie into a very small (but growing) desire to remain in Fellden and not return home, but is more just actually trying to fix things, which may or may not actually be a feasible end goal.
Sparring partners - Anyone looking to help her get better at combat/magic.
People who won't take her shit - Like, most importantly, people who are going to smack her over the head and tell her to stop being such an idiot when it comes to her issues and to actually help her work through some of that stuff. People who don't take "I'm fine" and Neria's constant deflections at face value.
Loyalty/Promise tattoos - This mechanic in the game is MY JAM. I really would love for Neria to keep making promises to people and to have the consequences of that! Would also love to just, in general, play out some really intense loyalty relationships from friends and allies and Ride or Die people.

Here is some preliminary info about this. I made a few plurks about it but here are some initial ideas...

Felguard is the WIP name for an Otherworlder-led group of individuals who are focused on the rejuvenation/flourishing of magic in Fellden through magical research, efforts to help natives and Otherworlders alike, and the stabilization of the outer worlds they have come from.

How it'd work is that it'd be a kind of secret sect/organization run by players who are interested in saving Fellden and revitalizing magic. We'd putz around and do fun things with the world, trade information, build CR, and work towards helping Fellden as a whole. It'll also help people maybe learn magic from each other and even find CR to pair up with for quests. It's not a faction, it's not a rebel group; it'd have both pro and anti-faction people involved, which opens the door for a lot of conflict and consequences! I'm open for it to be a backdrop that allows people to get involved in sabotage and PvP and all sorts of other things.

All of this is a WIP and I really, really would like help with it if people are interested! On top of that, when I talked about it on plurk, some people were interested in fighter/mercenary and thief/assassin/informant branches, so if people want to lead those or head those up, please feel free to. Initially, this was more of a plot for a coven of witches to team up - and that's still what it is for the moment - but I'm open for feedback and tweaking to make it open for other people.

CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN: Bucky is kind of laying low a bit. He's definitely attending events, like the New Year's party and the audience, but he's mostly sticking to the walls and listening and paying attention. He's still not sure what to think of everything, but he definitely believes the Priestess has good intentions, even if he doesn't really think a war's the best way to go about taking care of business. The other options he's seen so far, though, haven't really done much to offer him a better alternative, so he's sticking with his faction for now.

CR WANTED: Positive CR, negative CR, people who want to be friends and help him get more out of his shell and recover, people who want to try to take advantage of him and manipulate him, WHATEVER. I want anything. Everything. Let's do it.

CR OFFERED: After a very successful visit with the elves in Alvheim, Bucky has started making armor and weaponry in the elven style in the Moon Temple's forges. He's also a novice enchanter, so if you're interested in something along those lines, we can absolutely set something up! Also, while he's not super interested in diving into anything violent, he's definitely concerned with the safety of, you know, the world and the universe and whatever, so if you can make a case to him that something's up and you need his help, he's in. V is the human half our erstwhile Vergil. There's a lot that could go wrong with that, and V is assuredly kind of an arrogant ass who will smirk at you if you're getting flustered in front of him because isn't he the coolest. He has some personality defects, but overall is trying his best to learn from the mistakes of the past. He can be just preciously honest about his thoughts and emotions because he's seen what happens when you bottle it all up. At the same time though, he definitely feels uncomfortable talking about how he came to exist and can be quite evasive and mysterious. Overall he means well, but one thing to know about him is that he is not an altruist. He is a tactician by necessity of his weak human form... Definitely more a pragmatist, which can definitely offend some people in the throes of a war.

V's current opinions are that the war is absolutely pointless, but at the same time concerned that the effort of trying to stop it might just be wasting time. As a mage himself, he is significantly more interested in the magical side of these problems. His main interests are the actual cause of this world dying, and also stopping the faction leaders from killing it even faster, hence the project above. He had a chat about this with the Warlock after stealing a violin from him (wheezes), and he is the extremely unofficial-don't-bring-me-in-to-this patron.

V's preference for the end game of his project is to... not.... get.... caught. That might not end up being possible, but oh boy would he like to be able to stay in Moon territory and quietly undermine things rather than overtly rebel.

Also for December Blessing he got back one his familiars. So now his hair is naturally dark, he has significantly more magic, and now you can see tattoos on his hands. He's mainly wearing long-sleeves, but if you know him they definitely weren't there before. He will be living with Hakuno & Gil in their cute ass faerie cottage outside the Fidei Forest, but he can be found around.

He is extremely about MAGIC. He'll be learning, practicing, researching, etc.

ABOUT: Due to being born with a body filled with deadly toxins they can't control, Cinnabar has voluntarily led an isolated lifestyle - something that's only recently started to change at their canonpoint. In Fellden, their poison has been removed. Despite this being something they've often dreamed of, they've found it hasn't instantly fixed all their problems; their deep-seated social anxiety and instinct to hide and keep others at arms' length remains. At least they're slightly less insistent about it! In general, Cinnabar is distrustful of others, and has difficulty believing in their words and feelings. They are intelligent and analytical, refraining from making decisions until they've considered problems from many angles. Despite their prickly attitude, they are, at heart, extremely sensitive and compassionate - they learned to act the way they do in order to avoid hurting others and being hurt themself. It's just hard to get there!!

Also worth noting: Cinnabar is a gem, not a human. Gems are mineral lifeforms comprised of millions of colonial organisms known as inclusions that make their home in crystal. They are sexless and genderless, do not age or die, and if they are broken, they can be put back together. Their memories are stored throughout their body - if they lose a piece of themself, they'll lose whatever memories might be held in that piece.

CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN: i haven't been able to learn as much about this game and get as engaged as i'd like due to being busy with the holidays!! luckily, Cinnabar is an anti-social wallflower, so it kind of works out?! They mostly stay near the temple because they're scared of crowds and get freaked out by the town. Most of their time here has been spent thinking and considering their current situation - this is wildly different from the land they hail from, and they feel lost and out of place.

CR WANTED: friends. FRIENDS!! As you can probably guess, Cinnabar is not very motivated to get out there and get involved, and has a hard time connecting with others. Energetic, patient, and stubborn characters work best in getting past their guards. However, they may also get along with characters who are forceful, or characters who are cool and analytical like themself.

Obviously, though, I'm new, so I'll take any CR!! I really want to branch out.

CR OFFERED: Quiet, grouchy non-human who will pick apart your character's plans and try to make them think. Also, shy, easily-flustered non-human who's not used to attention or kindness and doesn't understand 90% of the human shit going on around them... Please teach them about the world and friends. ABOUT: Soldier-type and a former mercenary with a brusque, sardonic temperament, kind of an asshat and is generally very emotionally detached. Or at least, this is what he wants you think. He's actually stupidly sensitive with a bleeding heart to boot, and if you're nice to him, you'll get him to thaw just fine. His canonpoint has made him MUCH easier to deal with fortunately, as the whole "power of friendship, love, and literally dying and coming back to life" thing has made him more available to people.

CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN: So uh. Yeah he attended the audience. Squall recently found out that his girlfriend, Rinoa, is with the Court of Stars and he's not happy about it at all. He's going to be focusing on the idea of bridging the gap bigtime, especially since he's not partial to the idea of doing a god's dirty work for them. I want him to start taking classes soon too though!

CR WANTED:

- I'm not picky on this front! But friends to help him defrost would be nice since he's much lonelier than he lets on. He's good with more amiable types who are persistent in their efforts to befriend people.
- Other military types! People to spar with! People who get how he thinks. Anyone he can cooperate with on the battlefield is A+.
- Other people who're distrustful of the gods, let's get into some shit.
- People who need musclepower or are willing to invite him into chaos because the guy is a stupid thrillseeker who lives to fight even if he pretends otherwise.
- Older people to old-people at him, he's never had an actual guiding figure in his life and usually when adults talk to him it's just to get him to do Child Soldier things for them. Be warned he's gonna be stupidly difficult about it.
- People to have stupid arguements or fights with because he's a jerk.

- Again, musclepower. Squall is hard to get to know but he is super efficient at what he does, and if you need a job done, Squall is your guy to go to.

ABOUT: Haein's like a knock-off genie in that he was cursed by a god as a young child to grant wishes to some of the Worst people. That made him into the cranky, mistrustful asshole that he is today because if you can't get away from shitty people, then become shitty people. He's rude, hypocritical, selfish, petty, and just wants to be left alone. Wow, what a sell!! But he's got some alright... ish... qualities like he's super loyal when he decides someone is Okay, and he's really good at uh, reading books?

CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN: yeah, he's on the current audience log... soul withers and dies at being first toplevel. haein found out through his quest that while temperance can pick and choose what she saves and sacrifices, she has a limit when it comes to the things she can sacrifice, so!! that's something he's reporting to the emperor and he'll be looking for ways to nerf temperance because he hates... gods... so temperance just falls into that naturally atm. he's being his usual solo, lone wolf loser self about tackling this temperance thing but i would love for him to band with others!! >:( temperance is wrong 2k20

other than that he's realizing more and more how absolutely useless he is in fellden because he's a weak noodle of a boy. he got saved one time and it was the worst moment of his life, no dramatics here.

• so haein's stupid stubborn but other people who are just as stubborn and want to Power of Friendship at him can probably break him down because in his heart of hearts he's weak to that!!
  
• people for haein to talk shit about gods with... especially in the case of temperance. he doesn't buy her balance act for a second.
  
• maybe someone to teach him how to fight. haein avoids using his abilities and he's not a big fan of magic in general so it would be nice if he could like bulk up and learn how to hold a sword or something!!

NAME: Anthony J. Crowley
CANON: Good Omens
FACTION: Stars, currently
ABOUT: Crowley's a demon, a bad demon. He's grumpy, sarcastic, anxious, rash, and altogether kind of a jackass, which means that he doesn't quite leave great first impressions. Originally the serpent of Eden that doomed all of mankind, he's kind of been riding that accomplishment for about six thousand years while out and about causing all sorts of demonic wiles. This doesn't mean he's some super hardcore, dangerous, killing machine; quite the opposite, actually. His idea of a good time, and of 'demonic intervention' is literally glueing quarters to the ground and watching people try to pick them up. He's the inventor of the selfie, the one who designed most terrible traffic layouts, and probably responsible for most of the times your cellphone drops service. He's a nuisence.

He's also kind of soft, though he'd rather discorporate then ever admit that. He doesn't have a taste for actual horrid things, like murder and torture, and honestly does a lot more good in the world than he'd like to admit. Don't ever mention that to him, he hates it.

CURRENT PLANS/TIME SO FAR IN FELLDEN: Besides kicking it around Kyst and steadfastly ignoring the whole 'faction vs. faction' thing that's been going on, Crowley's on a personal mission to find out more about the Tower and their followers. He's visited Odii Prison and had an enlightening little chat with one of the nasties locked away there that really kicked his butt into gear, and he's been actively scouring Acubens for any hint of Tower worship. It hasn't really gone well, which he's a little frustrated about. Given the opportunity, he's planning on trying to get back into the prison ASAP, by whatever means necessary.

He's recently settled into living in Kyst with his best friend who he accidentally got married to and is handling it with the grace and decorum you'd expect of someone who's over six thousand years old. That is, freaking the fuck out and panicking and generally just being a gigantic idiot over it. The rumors from the New Year's party aren't helping, and neither is the Warlock. He's absolutely going to find a way to get back, just you wait.

CR WANTED:

• Anyone with knowledge about the Tower worshipers! Crowley's actually going hard looking into things and getting nowhere, so he'd welcome any new information.
• People who would be totally okay causing some minor chaos. Factions don't even matter, are you looking to make some problems just for the heck of it? He's your guy.
• Anyone who's willing to call him out on his bullshit. He likes to talk a big talk but really he's kind of a dork.
• Nonhumans! While he's still quiet on the whole 'actually a demon' thing, it's nice (and really weird) to learn that there are other inhuman people out there.
• Religious people. Please, just let him troll you. Alternatively, try to explain the way your own native gods/deities work and just confuse the living hell out of him.
• Drinking buddies! He doesn't eat, but Crowley's big on the booze. Bonus points for people that appreciate a finer brew.
• Honestly someone just tell him to get his head out of his ass in regards to the marriage thing too. He's fucking <i>awful</i> with rational, normal feelings re: relationships with other people.
• Herbology/gardening partners! He's currently raising a pair of giant carnivorous plants and prides himself on being one hell of a gardener. Talk plants with him, please
