is weird about it

constantin is a funny guy in dante's book!! he doesn't know him enough to judge him properly, but dante isn't sure that he wants to know him more than what he already does. as it were, dante has enough fun at his expense.

but, you know, we can't leave it at that

there is definitely a sad backstory to this guy, dante can sniff that out, but he doesn't want to reach that level of compromise. for all his Bad Guy attitude, dante actually wouldn't mind having constantin following him around or wanting to "hang out" i guess... he's one of those sad puppies you really can't bring yourself to abandon in a box and run away from
