Lightning is a no-nonsense woman and a strong fighter that reminds Orchid strongly of a knight that protected her in the past. At the same time, she feels incredibly guilty for being a liability on the battlefield. She's deeply grateful for her aid and wants to be able to pay her back somehow. She can see that she's capable of holding her own in a fight, but she'd like to be able to fight by her side (especially now that she's regaining her powers.) ...Which actually may be a thing that might be mentioned in our current thread once I get back into a tagging mood!

Also seeing Odin is both a surprise and a comfort, because he reminds her of home and wow, a creature similar to a primal... and this one isn't going on a rampage. Which she's obviously glad for.
