Lightning is a BRO. She's a comrade in arms to him, but more like someone from the same platoon than just fighting for the same cause--a sort of unspoken trust to have her back even if it's something like poking her nose in a book about blood magic. She's reliable, has a similar view of things as him and a similar disposition that makes it easy for him to believe in.

He may not know where she comes from or what her skeletons are but that's fine, he'd still ride or die with her.

If he learned that Neria was once a leading figure in saving her world he, frankly, would not be surprised. She's clearly a go-getter with a heart for others and he appreciates that she's driven to come together with others regardless of affiliation (even if sometimes that gets the wrong kind of attention) since he has the same idea that it's all these Otherworlders who are in this together. Would definitely murder a dude for her, few questions asked.

Not exactly that, but his first impression is definitely that he's kind of immature and doesn't seem very focused on tasks... or at least, tasks he isn't interested in.

That said he is interested in getting more a demonstration of his magic, and see just how much of a master at it he is, so he'll look forward to hearing about when Wuxian's practiced enough to bring it back reliably.

Crowley is a complainer, thought whether it's complaining for the sake of complaining or that he's really dragging himself through things he hates (loudly), he doesn't know. But he's loud.

Also no, he doesn't have even the suspicion Crowley and Ashtoreth are the same person, Crowley is panicking all on his own (but also, if you need a disguise he'd recommend something a lot less similar than that). :')
