I think JRPGs tend to have a more clear delineation of "good guy" versus "bad guy".

[ At least that's the case for the ones she has played! ]

I mean... I understand that this conflict needs to be resolved in order to save our own universe, but I don't get why fighting each other until one side succeeds over the other has to be the solution.
